Welcome to 4Impact Philanthropy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at www.4impactphilanthropy.com and any related services we provide through the site. 4Impact Philanthropy is a trade name of Matt Rubinoff, Inc. (an S-corporation) doing business as 4Impact Philanthropy. References in these Terms to "4Impact," "we," "us," or "our" refer to Matt Rubinoff, Inc. and its 4Impact Philanthropy DBA.

By using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What this site is (and isn't)

This site provides general information about 4Impact Philanthropy — our services, our approach, and our founder. Nothing on this site is intended as personalized philanthropic, legal, tax, financial, or investment advice.

If you're looking for personalized guidance on your charitable giving, that's what our engagements are for. Please book a call to discuss.

For legal, tax, or investment advice specific to your situation, always consult a qualified attorney, tax professional, or licensed financial advisor.

Booking a call and initial conversations

When you book a call through our Calendly link, you're scheduling a complimentary initial conversation. This conversation is exploratory — it doesn't create a client relationship, and no advice we share during it is meant to be relied on as personalized guidance.

A formal engagement with 4Impact begins only when both parties sign an engagement letter or written agreement. Until then, there is no client relationship and no obligation from either side.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you'll receive occasional emails about philanthropy, our work, and topics we think you might find useful. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We won't share your email with anyone else.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site — the copy, images, structure, design — belongs to 4Impact Philanthropy or is used under license. You're welcome to link to us, quote briefly with attribution, or share our content with proper credit. Please don't reproduce substantial portions of the site, use our name or branding for your own commercial purposes, or otherwise misrepresent your relationship with us.

If you'd like to use any of our content in a way that isn't obviously covered above, email matt@4impactphilanthropy.com and ask.

Third-party links and services

Our site may link to third-party websites (for example, in the citations of the "Nine in ten" statistic linking to UBS's Investor Watch report). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms.

Services we use to power the site — Squarespace, Calendly, Google Analytics, our email marketing provider — operate under their own terms and privacy policies. When you use those services (for example, by booking a call through Calendly), you're also agreeing to their terms.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties or guarantees about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of anything on the site. Use of the site is at your own risk.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may result from your use of the site or reliance on any information provided on it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Orange County, California.
