Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
4Impact Philanthropy is a trade name of Matt Rubinoff, Inc. (an S-corporation) doing business as 4Impact Philanthropy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.4impactphilanthropy.com or interact with us, how we use it, and what choices you have.
We've tried to write this in plain English. If any of it is unclear, email matt@4impactphilanthropy.com and we'll answer directly.
What we collect
Information you give us directly. When you fill out our contact form, book a call through Calendly, subscribe to our newsletter, or email us, we collect the information you provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), the name of your firm or organization (if you provide it), and any message or context you share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site. Through Squarespace's built-in analytics and Google Analytics, we collect information such as your IP address (anonymized where possible), browser type, device type, pages viewed, time on site, and how you arrived at our site. This helps us understand what's working and what isn't.
Information from third-party services. When you book a call through our Calendly link, Calendly collects and processes your booking information. When you subscribe to our newsletter, our email marketing provider (Mailchimp or similar) stores your email address and any preferences you set. Both of these services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your inquiries and schedule conversations with you
Deliver the newsletter to subscribers who have opted in
Improve the website based on what content and pages people find useful
Understand where our visitors come from so we can invest in the marketing channels that reach the people we serve
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. Full stop.
Who we share information with
We share your information only with the specific service providers we need to run the business:
Squarespace — hosts the website and provides basic analytics
Calendly — powers the booking flow
Google Analytics — provides deeper website analytics
Our email marketing provider — delivers the newsletter to subscribers
Our email host (Google Workspace or similar) — receives and stores emails you send us
If we're ever legally required to disclose information (for example, by a subpoena), we'll do so — and where legally permitted, we'll let you know.
Your choices
Newsletter. Every newsletter we send has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it any time.
Cookies. Your browser lets you refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may affect how the site works, but you can absolutely browse without accepting them.
Access, correction, deletion. You can ask us at any time what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email matt@4impactphilanthropy.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
California residents. If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (though we don't sell your information — see above). To exercise these rights, email matt@4impactphilanthropy.com.
How long we keep information
Contact form and email correspondence: as long as our relationship is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.
Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a short period after to prevent accidental re-adds.
Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized data is retained by Squarespace and Google Analytics according to their standard retention periods.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make material changes, we'll do our best to give notice — through the site, through an email to newsletter subscribers, or both.
